Giving Back to the Community

The Mowery family proudly founded the Give Back a Smile program in Florida. This organization assists the survivors of abuse in repairing dental and facial trauma that occurred as a result of abuse. Every year, thousands of women, men, and children experience battery, psychological abuse, sexual assault, social isolation, and intimidation at the hands of their partners and others. This cycle of violence is not confined to a single racial, ethnic, gender, religious, educational, or socioeconomic group. It can happen to anyone. For those who are brave enough to escape the cycle of abuse, starting over can be made more difficult due to self-consciousness about physical injuries and scarring. Established in December of 2013, the Give Back a Smile Florida program has provided over $225,000 in complimentary dental care to these survivors as of 2019, and with our continued support and dedication, we will be able to help men, women, and children who have suffered dental injuries as a result of abuse to renew their smiles and lead happy, healthier lives.
